Rear spoiler complete to suit early 928s upto 1986 in as new condition $850 new price is around $3K and if you are repainting, a new spoiler will be like new shoes with a new suit.

Cams with GT specification, in excellent condition $875, will need small mod to fit S4 and later models. These cams have a wide lobe separation angle and as such will also run in automatics and have a broader power curve.

From a Porsche workshop expect to pay $20K+. For anybody rebuilding a motor this is a very affordable way to go. AUD $12,000

Carbon and Aluminium Strut Braces For The 928

I have recently embarked on a mission to developed a 928 strut brace both in carbon fibre and aluminium that would not bend. I found a good percentage of the genuine units were always bending under extreme loads.

Having had a close association with members of the Penske Race Team my intention was one, to stop the bending and two, reduce the tram rail affect on 928's fitted with aftermarket rims with incorrect offsets.

The boys at Penske Racing advised that by running a preloaded bar you would achieve the following:

• overall better handling
  
  
• reduction in tram railing
  
  
• and finally a consideralble reduction in bending motions of the bar.

We designed a bar and had it shipped out to test. From all accounts we realised what we had set out to achieve. Recent comments from those who have tested it on NSW road conditions have also been very positive.
