'84 S
My 928 is an Australian delivered '84 S 4.7 litre with
custom made headers. It was originally an Automatic so I purchased a
(5 Speed) wreck with a late model gearbox and converted it to Manual.
The car was recently repainted in Shieferblau Metallic
(661 Slate Blue). . The car has only 71,000 kms. The interior is blue also
and has new leather seats, a Blaupunkt stereo with 10 stack cd player and
a custom built woofer.
The wheels come from a 2002/03 Carrera and it has
225/40/18 tyres on the front and 285/30/18 tyres on the rear. Custom front
stub axles and control arms and custom spacers on the rear were needed to
make this package work correctly. The brakes are from the 993 twin turbo.
It has Bilstein shocks and this package makes the
handling pretty sharp.
A supercharged GTS engine is on the agenda when time and
